Embarrassing

At an earlier point in my life I believed I couldn’t be embarrassed. I now realize that my intake of embarrassment must have been a bit like my constant intake of air. My body drank it in unconsciously and never realized it.

And with that, here are some embarrassing things about myself that I remembered today!

  • I used to wear a fedora to classes in college. Not a real one. A costume piece fedora from the Norcostco theater costume shop.
  • In middle school, I was really in to the Black Stallion books. I mean, really in to them. I also threw a book or two about befriending wolves in there for good measure.
  • Also in middle school, I would wear a black, white, and pink zebra print Zubaz outfit to school. That’s right, outfit. Not just the pants. In fact, they weren’t even official Zubaz. They were made with a pattern and fabric from the fabric store.

I’m kind of surprised I had and continue to have friends.

Dear Acquaintances From High School

Dear acquaintances from high school,

It appears that you found this website by, creepily, searching for my name in Google. Please be aware that I have absolutely no interest in reconnecting with you.

Sorry to be so blunt, but I see no reason to waste your time or mine with idle chit chat. It would be a farce, and not the delightful English kind. You are no Colin Firth.

That is all.

Regards,
Aric McKeown
